Regular visits from Nadja, an experienced psychologist
The rehabilitation center facilitates regular appointments with Nadja, an experienced psychologist. All the women living at the center look forward to these appointments. They are an excellent opportunity to ask questions. They get expert advice from a professional with a wealth of first-hand parenting experience as a mother of three and a grandmother of five.
This time, the theme of the meeting is "How to pay attention to your child's emotions?". Nadja will discuss with the women how parents can hurt their children's feelings, at what age, in which areas children's feelings are most vulnerable, and how to heal wounded feelings.
A question raises concerns about whether new children born into the family can be given as much love as older children have received. "Did you know that when children are born, love is multiplied?" Nadja asked wisely and with experience answers. "In a balanced family, each newborn child receives even more love because he or she is loved not only by the mother and father but also by the older siblings."
Psychologist meetings are essential to the holistic help, and support mothers in the rehabilitation home receive. They are very good and necessary.
