Albania: Amid the Unrest, God Is at Work!
Recent images of protests and unrest in the streets of Tirana, Albania, have been concerning. But while the news is showing one side of life in Albania, our Mission Possible team is sharing a very different picture—one filled with children laughing, making friends, and learning about Jesus!
We are thankful to report that our team in Albania is safe, although understandably concerned about what is happening in their country.
Despite the uncertainty, ministry continues!
Since September, the team has welcomed children back with a picnic and Back to School celebrations, restarted Bible studies and weekly children's services, and celebrated 35 years of Mission Possible Albania!
Even more encouraging, new children are joining the programs, many invited by their friends. Each new relationship is another opportunity to share the love of Jesus and the hope found in Him.
Please Join Us in Prayer
As our team continues serving their community, we invite you to pray:
- For Albania: For peace, wisdom for the country's leaders and those protesting, and safety for everyone affected.
- For our team: For protection, strength, encouragement, and continued opportunities to share God's love.
- For the children and families: That relationships will grow and many more will come to know Jesus.
In the coming weeks, Mission Possible colleagues from across Europe will gather in Albania to encourage our local team, spend time together, and see firsthand the work God is doing.
Thank you for standing with our team and the people of Albania in prayer.
There may be unrest in the streets, but there is still hope in Albania!
