Love Is Resourceful.
When love sees a neighbor in need, it takes action and finds a way to help.
Mission Possible’s Baby Box Project was born ten years ago after we realized the need to support families, children, and mothers in poor Roma villages in Bulgaria. Many of the new mothers in these communities are still merely children themselves.
The Baby Boxes provide tangible love to their recipients.
They show mothers who have been rejected because of their background that they and their little ones are valuable.
BabyBoxes are products of the generosity and efforts of volunteers who collect, arrange, transport, and deliver useful items to mothers in need. With compassionate hearts and prayers for God’s blessing on the recipients, volunteers send the boxes to Bulgaria for distribution.
The Most Important Thing is to Meet, Listen, Care, and Love.
We have delivered more than 5,000 BabyBoxes to families living in impoverished neighborhoods. Every box has been given to meet a need and we have seen how gratefully families receive this help.
The significance of the Baby Box Project, however, is not measured by the number of boxes distributed, but by the impact they have on the lives of those who receive them.
The most important thing is to treat each recipient as the unique individual they are, to be sympathetic to their situation, and to respond with kindness and love.
A box of baby clothes does not change anyone’s life, but love does.
God Found a Way
God is love. Every person’s deepest need is to know Him.
God’s love found a way to save us, and He opened the way for us to fellowship with Him.
At the heart of the BabyBox Project is the transforming power of the love and grace of God, who has conquered sin and death. Every recipient of a box hears the gospel message and receives an invitation to a local church. Many have come to know Jesus!
