The Teen Club: Growing Leaders and Building Friendship

Every Saturday laughter, music, games, and friendship fill our teen club in Krasnoyarsk! The young people themselves chose its name: Crazy Time! It is a place where they can be safe, invite friends, and discover that they are valued.

What is special is that the teenagers are not only participants, but they are leaders as well. During the week a team of six meets to plan the club’s activities. They organize contests, prepare food, arrange for music, and decorate the room together. At the club they welcome guests, set up equipment, and serve tea and snacks.

New teenagers came to the club this past spring. They took part in games and competitions, but most importantly they learned about the miracles of Jesus and heard the Easter message.

After the long winter our team had the idea to take the group by train to Yenisey River Park in Divnogorsk. For many, it was not only their first train trip, but their first time outside the city!

Through these simple times of friendship, responsibility, and the sharing of faith, we can see young lives being shaped.
