2020 Was Not "A Year That Didn't Exist"
I’ve heard it said that “2020 was a year that didn’t exist.” So many annual conferences, athletics, and other events were cancelled.
But in Mission Possible’s ministry, 2020 was not a gap year.
Our relief work expanded and we were very active.
This year also brought an answer to a long-standing prayer: In Bulgaria we completed the construction of a meeting hall at our activity center, which was made possible by designated donations.
More good news from 2020 includes the opening of a new shelter home for mothers and children in Omsk, Russia.
The fact that all the workers and volunteers in our countries of operation are local believers again proved to be crucial. None of MP’s ministry suffered because of workers having to leave the country due to the pandemic.
Personally, this was the first time in more than thirty years that I couldn’t visit Russia.
But I was happy to see that the work is in good hands and everything continued well.
I would like to sincerely thank you,
dear friends, for continuing to support our ministry as before,
despite the fact that this has been
a time of financial instability everywhere.
The year 2020 was a good and active year for us, and for many of the people in our work it was a year that brought a lasting change of direction to their lives.
I wish everyone a joyful Christmas and a happy and blessed New Year!
Bringing Relief, Joy, and the Christmas Message to Thousands of Families
Christmas is just around the corner! As in previous years, we have many Christmas events scheduled for the children and families we’ve helped throughout the year. Christmas also gives additional opportunities to meet and invite new families to join us. Our teams visit homes to deliver gifts and food and clothing, like winter boots and coats for children. A slight difference in our procedures this year is that masks and other precautions are required.
A warm Thank You for your help that makes everything possible!
Merry Christmas to you all!
