We wish you a blessed Christmas and New Year!
Thank You to the God of the Nations!
PÄIVI RANTA, Mission Possible Finland Director
I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9-10)
The apostle John had faithfully served his Savior into old age when, on the prison island of Patmos, he received this vision of the great plan of the God of the nations.
This year we celebrated Mission Possible’s 50th anniversary. The journey has taken us from Bible smuggling and supporting the persecuted church to present-day ministry.
So many people have shared in the work by sowing, watering, giving, and praying. Through such generosity, thousands of people in Eastern Europe and Russia have been helped and have heard the gospel. Some of them have been called Home; others are still fighting the good fight of faith on earth.
One day we – both the helpers and the helped – will praise God together in the midst of the great multitudes of heaven! The work is not yet finished, but the goal is clear and the journey continues.
With gratitude we close this year and look to the future. Thank you for being with us!
On behalf of Mission Possible’s entire international team, We wish you a blessed Christmas and New Year!
On a personal note, our colleague Joy is getting married tomorrow! Please keep her and Jeff in your prayers as they embark on this new chapter of their lives. You’re welcome to send them a message of congratulations and love at [email protected].
