Our team here in Albania has broken new ground: we’ve started a soccer club! We call ourselves F.C. Mission Possible and we currently have thirteen children and teenagers signed up. We’re confident we’ll soon be welcoming new enthusiastic players!

We know that sharing our faith through word and deed in everyday life – like on the soccer field – can speak just as powerfully as a sermon from the pulpit.

The goal of our soccer ministry goes far beyond sports training. We want to share Jesus and help children and young people grow as disciples.

We also want to reach the hearts of parents through their children.

Taking part in sporting events can bring families closer together, creating opportunities for different generations to spend quality time together. The experiences of both victories and defeats on the field allow parents to observe us as Christians, get to know us as we coach their children, and consider faith in Jesus Christ for themselves.

We want athletics to serve a greater purpose. By interacting with players and sharing our testimonies, we pray players will be open and receptive to the gospel. We long to see lives transformed and God glorified.

Please pray with us for these children and families. We also ask for prayer that we may have a building of our own. Our Hope Center currently operates in rented facilities. Owning a building would help secure this ministry’s future.
