This is what a social worker asked our team member in Russia. The coronavirus pandemic has caused anxiety for so many. She had heard about the apocalyptic Bible prophecies and knew our worker was a Christian and could possibly shed some light on this situation.
The people we meet and help, suffer from fear, hopelessness, and a shortage of essential items. They feel alone and are scared of the unknown future. Panic has prevailed in many homes.
We have an opportunity to encourage, help, and counsel these people, to share the gospel, and to pray with them.
We have something real to give to people
– something imperishable and of eternal value
that can entirely change lives!
This pandemic has been challenging for our own team members as well. Several of them have been sick with coronavirus and placed in quarantine. But at the same time, this strange season has opened new possibilities.
Our team is grateful and encouraged to see what God is doing.
