Projects
Families in Crisis
Supporting families experiencing times of crisis; home visits, distribution of clothing and supplies, skills and employment help, medical testing, and care.
Mission Possible partners with families living in inhumane conditions found across Eastern Europe. Insufficient housing, food insecurity, and often rejected from society; these families need help. Introduction to the local church brings a community, support, and an opportunity to learn about Christ.
Donate to families in CrisisReaching families challenged by complex cultural, economic, and spiritual environments.
Regular Home Visits to Struggling Families
Mission Possible’s shelter homes can only house a limited number of people. By conducting in-home visits with families, we have expanded our reach. Housing is often unsatisfactory, and the surrounding community can be unsafe. Utilizing a network of local volunteers from local churches, families receive the care and support they most need.
This family ministry gives hope and care to children growing amidst moral and material misery.
Seasonal and Disaster Relief
During natural disasters and times of special needs, we can provide immediate and emergency relief. Mission Possible Bulgaria and Ukraine arranged food and household product distribution to the most vulnerable people living in remote villages during the coronavirus pandemic. Mission Possible Albania has helped families in poor neighborhoods who have suffered from recent floods and earthquakes.
Winter in Eastern Europe can be especially harsh, offering different opportunities to serve. Distribution of winter coats or boots in Bulgarian villages, Christmas boxes in Albania and Bulgaria, food supplies to the elderly, and more. Soup Kitchens run each winter in Bulgarian Roma villages.
Clubs: Embracing the Whole Family
Mission Possible teams visit villages in impoverished and sometimes remote areas of Eastern Europe, arranging child-friendly Bible teaching and activity clubs for the local community. The children learn about God, scriptures, morality, and hope found in Christ. Local schools utilize Mission Possible to provide classes, teaching life skills, avoiding substance abuse, HIV, and other relevant topics.
After-school clubs, run by Mission Possible volunteers, help with tutoring, arts, crafts, and games and provides a safe and Christ-centered environment.
Mothers, children, and sometimes entire families come together at these clubs. Classes are given on child care, parenting, building healthy relationships, Christian values, and more.
