How to Make Disciples of Jesus
IGNAT IVANOV, executive director
Jesus said, “Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20
Jesus gave a task and an example
Our mission and task at Mission Possible is to spread help and the gospel -the two belong together in working for people in need. Spreading the Gospel also essentially includes the teaching of the Bible and Christian life.
People in the mission fields do not come to faith and grow in faith any easier than in their homeland. That's why discipleship is needed: many years of long-term concrete guidance, walking alongside and teaching by example, so that the young believer understands what following Jesus means in practice.
This is how Jesus himself worked: He invited his disciples to be with him, he equipped them by teaching and taking them with him to work, and then he sent them to continue the work - to share the gospel and make disciples.

From person to person and from generation to generation
In all the countries of our work – Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia and Albania – our local employees and volunteers work according to the missionary order and example given by Jesus. Many of our workers are those who have grown from the harvest, that is, those who have been helped and have grown into helpers and missionary workers in the midst of their own communities.
The theme of our latest newsletter is equipping and shipping. On the pages of the magazine, you will meet people to whom our team members have shared the gospel and whom they have guided and encouraged. If you'd like to receive the newsletter via mail or email let us know.
It is especially gratifying and encouraging to see how young people grow up as Christians and take the good news forward!
