Food, Firewood, Clothes, blankets, Christmas Gifts, And Bibles for Ukrainians.
At the beginning of this new year, our team received truckloads of aid from Ireland and the Netherlands. The first truck was full of Christmas presents for children. Our team oversaw their distribution. The second truck, sent by our sister association, Mission Possible Netherlands, yielded clothing, blankets, electric generators, and other supplies requested by our team, as well as 5,000 Bibles for children and adults.
One of the recipients of this aid is Olya, a woman from a remote village in the Odessa region. With help from her friends, she and her baby boy were able to find another place to live after miraculously surviving when a rocket destroyed their home. There are no jobs in her village, and the child allowance came nowhere close to covering all expenses. In her need, Olya turned to us at the urging of her neighbors.
We immediately brought a box of food, diapers, and a warm blanket to Olya and her son, for which she was so grateful. Our team member Tatyana listened to Olya’s story and then told her about the one true God in whom we can trust. Olya remorsefully responded:
– I went to a Bible club as a child. I prayed and felt God was taking care of me. I even promised to serve Him, but as an adult I forgot Him and started living like most people in this world.
Tatyana encouraged Olya to turn to God again.
We believe the Lord led us to meet this young mother, and our hope is that she – and the hundreds of others with whom we have shared the gospel and help – will come to know the Lord and put their trust in Him.

At Christmastime our Bulgarian team held an evangelistic event in four impoverished villages. Families were given clothing and 260 children received gifts. Asen, Fanka, (pictured above) and their family were some of the happy recipients.
Christmas events for families in need were also organized in Russia and Albania.
