Examples of faith, courage, and love of neighbor
On August 22, a rocket once again hit a village where our Odesa team helps families and runs a children's club. Fortunately, no one died, but the windows of many homes were shattered. With the alarm sirens ringing non-stop, our team members went to find and buy plastic for the villagers' windows. At one point, Igor and Sasha were installing the window coverings while Tanja comforted and calmed the frightened children and prayed with them.
At such a time and in such a situation, amid panic, fear, and deprivation, everyone would have the right to flee, seek refuge, and take care of themselves and their loved ones.
However, there are people who have decided to suppress their fear and be examples of courage and love of neighbor for others and be the answer to prayers.
There are many such people among Mission Possible's team members and assistants in Odesa. The gospel is taken to people with anxiety along with food and hope. Rather than putting their own safety and comfort first, they put the needs of others first.
Their daily routine is either packing aid boxes or transporting them through checkpoints and dangerous areas to families in need.
Help and the gospel are gratefully received.
Thank you for your support, which makes it possible for these heroes of the faith to have something to share with people. Pray for them for strength and for God's protection!
So far, we have distributed help and the gospel in 128 areasof Ukraine.
Let's do what we can together!
