"We Continue to See Miracles!"

20191028 DobromirkaTwelve years ago, Mission Possible in Bulgaria launched biblical counseling retreats for women who have experienced trauma. Twice a year we witness miracles in the lives of the women who attend these retreats at our Dobromirka camp center.
Some have been victims of domestic violence, some have been trafficked, some have gone through extremely difficult family situations, and some are new believers seeking freedom from the burdens of dark pasts.
We teach the Bible, pray, and have small group discussions. Experienced counselors work with each woman one-on-one as well.
For Slava and Asya, the retreat be- came a real turning point.

Slava, 29.
"I got married young. Our first child was born disabled. It was extremely difficult. Helplessness, sleepless nights... the mental and physical suffering was endless. I was young in the faith and wondered if God was punishing me for something.
I signed up for this Bible retreat hoping to find answers to my questions. But what I experienced exceeded my expectations.
God showed me that He loves me unconditionally and is always near, no matter what! He took away my heavy burden of guilt, and now I am full of hope."

Asya, 56:
"I fought cancer for seven years until I collapsed mentally and spiritually. I was hopeless and saw no reason to keep fighting. I felt alone and abandoned by God. My friend signed me up for this retreat. Through each session God opened a way into my heart. His love flooded the ruins of my life! I saw myself through His eyes. I realized I was not a victim. He had never left me alone, but I had actually turned my back on Him. God gave me new hope and a new song. I thank Him from the bottom of my heart!"
