Projects in Armenia
For a few years Mission Possible has been involved in Christian daycare facilities for children in Armenia.
More precisely, the work has been done in the town of Ijevan and in the breakaway territory of Artsakh, also known as Nagorno-Karabakh.
Our involvement in Armenia has now grown.
In September 2020, war broke out between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed territory.
Thousands became victims and thousands of refugees ended up in Armenia. Many cannot return to their homes as whole areas have been destroyed. These refugees are facing a cold winter in temporary makeshift housing.
Mission Possible provides care packages: clothes, blankets, food, medicines, school supplies, and firewood.
We have received designated relief funds for about 150 families.

Because of the specific needs and ministry opportunities at this time, Armenia is again becoming one of Mission Possible’s countries of operation.
Like the other countries where we work, Armenia is a former Soviet bloc country. In the early 1990s we distributed our Bible course in Armenia. This year we hope to start a daycare program in the city of Berd.
In the meantime, the work in Transnistria, Moldova, where we Mission Possible has been working for the past five years, has gained enough local resources for children’s evangelism and camps. We continue the partnership as special projects or needs arise.
